CONTROL BOX: (DO NOT PLACE OUTDOORS UNLESS PLACED IN AN ALL-WEATHER ENCLOSURE)

RESET BUTTON (BLACK): Is used to manually switch the lights on or off, at any time of day or night.

YELLOW LIGHT: Indicates that the system is using battery power.

GREEN LIGHT: Indicates that the system is using AC power & charging the battery.

TOP CONNECTOR (MAIN BANK): Is used for indoor lights. They will switch on only when there is a
power failure or the reset button is pushed or if the modem (optional) is activated by phoning in.

BOTTOM CONNECTOR (SECONDARY BANK): Is used for outdoor lights. These lights will switch on
EVERY night regardless of whether or not there is a power failure.

REAL-TIME CLOCK: Ensures that indoor lights will not switch on in day-light hours in the event of a
power failure.

POWER CABLE: KEEP THE SYSTEM PLUGGED INTO THE MAINS (AC) AT ALL TIMES.

BATTERY: (inside box): 12V / 18AMP. Expected life: 3 years.

INTELLIGENT CHARGER: Ensures that the battery does not over-charge or under-charge, protecting the
life of the battery.

LIGHTS: 3 Powerful LED’s per light – expected life of +40 000 hours or 10 years.

PURE WHITE: Brighter light ideal for outdoor lighting with yellow lens.

NATURAL WHITE: Softer lighting, suitable for both indoor and outdoor lighting.

INFRA-RED REMOTE CONTROL: From up to 5m away, switch lights on and off individually by
pointing to the light.

YELLOW LENS: Used when softer lighting is desired or for outdoors.

CLEAR LENS: Used for indoor and outdoor lighting.
